Daisy

Daisy - Oxeye

Other Names : Oxeye Daisy

Description:

My garden is filled with these spring blooming daisys that bloom at the same time as the Iris, when not much is going on in the garden. I dead head some of them to the plant base and new shorter daisys will bloom later. Some of them I just pull out as there are so many of them. It is a welcome spring site. Very hardy in zone 4 they grow in sun to partial shade, are deer proof and aren't fussy about soil.

Maintenance:

Cut back flower stems after first bloom, be careful not to cut the next set of buds. This plant may rebloom until fall.
